An invitation to the conference: “The Spirit of Place”

| Saturday, July 31st |
12.00: Opening of conference at Finnøy. Transport from Innhavet at 11.00. We will be outdoors until the evening. We will participate in and evaluate the Arctic Wilderness Experience. This will be a day in a very special cultural landscape and a special cultural event. |
| Sunday, August 1st | Transport from Kjøpsvik to the mountain of Stetind. We will perform a ceremony “at the cradle of eco-philosophy”. To attend this hike you need hiking boots and clothes. Afterwards we invite you to a celebration dinner at Stetind hotel (375,- NOK) There, the book “Arven og gleden” will be launched. |

The papers will be presented at this website. They will represent the main documents for the dialogue conference.
The discussions at the conference will be in English.
Please register to Børge Dahle Borge.Dahle@nih.no. Final sign up for the conference is June 21. The conference fee is set to 1000,- NOK.
IMPORTANT! When you register, please inform if you want to join the dinner Saturday night at Finnøy and/or the dinner at Stetind Hotell on Sunday.
The conference is based on self accommodation but the main meals can be bought at Arran.
