Council for Eco-philosophy has started a signature campaign to prove that in the world population there is a common understanding of the seriousness of the climate situation.

To solve the climate crisis is definitely the most important political issue in this century – as seen from all different social perspectives. This is a common struggle to preserve a diverse nature and to ensure present and future generations good living conditions.

Council for eco-philosophy has therefore developed the project The joy of living in a nature-friendly way as a hope to be able to unite organizations and individuals, to support politicians who want to develop a nature - friendly society.

The 2010 conference is held July 31 to August 3 at Arran, the Sami cultural heritage center, Tysfjord, Norway.

We are in the process of publishing articles related to eco-philosophy and nature-friendly ways of living. These are mostly written in Norwegian by members of the Council, but English versions will also appear.
